Hello friends and family!
This weekend has been fun! We stayed home for once! As a result, my house is still a wreck, cause I felt like doing absolutely nothing!
I decided to get the silhouette cameo to help me decorate and do fun things for parties, and my sisters upcoming wedding! We got a lot of stuff done this weekend for the wedding, and I was able to book a photo booth for the wedding! I'm really excited about that (Bekah is too, don't worry!) My new toy made me upset very quickly though. I don't know what happened, but it got messed up and was not cutting correctly. It also totally cut through the cutting mat, made a huge mess and made me look like a crazy person in front of my father in law. I literally threw the mat on the ground and stomped off to the bedroom and closed the door cause I was so mad at my machine! Zach was so sweet, I could hear him trying to make it work after I went to bed. It didn't work, but it was sweet that he tried, especially after I threw a huge fit. I came home today, and fiddled with it and it started working again. Hopefully it continues to work so I don't have to exchange it for a new one, aint' nobody got time for that. Below are some pictures of my new toy when I first got it, and then after, when I got mad at it and made a huge mess.
The damage my cameo did to the edge of my new cutting mat.
More damage...
The huge mess I made.
I'm on this kick where I am trying to work out and eat better and lose some weight. As a result, I have decided to use protein powder to make protein shakes for the first time in my life! I'll let you know how that works! So far they are pretty tasty though, which is half the battle. I have been drinking them after work outs and then for breakfast in the morning on days I don't work out. It is supposed to help my muscles recover and do some other stuff that leads to a healthier body, so we'll see! I bought some canisters to put them in because the protein power cans are huge, plastic, and ugly. I copied my friend, who does something similar, and put chalk label sticks on the canisters so I know which one is what.
I took a picture of this because it is what my Siri told me when I told her thank you for looking up an answer to a question I had. This is the first time I have used my Siri, so I thought it was pretty funny!
Thanks for checkin' in!
