I'm Off to a Good Start!

Look at me! Another post!
My first post was actually like 15 minutes ago, but I wanted to play around with the fonts and colors and such before I posted again. Does this mean that I am caught up on my blog posting for 2 weeks now? I guess I'll count it if I fall behind, then I will still be making my new years resolution!
Those that know me, know that I love the holidays, but I especially LOVE Christmas. I have got all my decorations packed away in the attic now, and I can't help but feel blue. Christmas time really does keep me jolly! I'm excited for next year though, I have decided to add another tree to the family, a teacher tree! I will put all my teacher ornaments and hand made ornaments my kids give me over the years on this tree. It will be topped with a stereotypical red apple, with glitter of course! At least I have something to look forward to, right?
This weekend was a fun one, we went to go visit our friend, Kelsey's, grandparents. We went with her and her husband because the boys wanted to hunt on Papa Don's farm. We went shopping while they did that. We also went to, seriously, THE BEST steakhouse for dinner. It's called Perini's. It seriously makes me regret my decision to go to Harding instead of ACU. If I had known such a place existed, I just may have gone to ACU! I'm not a big steak person, but their burgers are seriously the BEST thing that I have ever put in my mouth. Last time we went, I split one with Kelsey, I told her then, "Next time, I'm not splitting with you, I'm getting my own", and so I did! Zach and I went ahead and bought their cookbook so we can have that recipe, as well the recipe for their yummy potatoes and bread pudding!
While we were there, Ryan took some photos of us so we can hang em on our walls! I'm excited to get them printed and hung up, maybe if I'm feeling motivated that will be before it gets too warm and the pictures have to wait until next season to be put up. I decided I will alternate certain family photos throughout the year to match the season. These pictures will do for fall/winter (until I get winter pictures), I also have bluebonnet pictures and sunflower pictures for the spring and summer. I plan on getting two or three printed pretty big on a canvas to hang on the walls! I'll have to post some to my new blog once I get them from Ryan!

I'm off, thanks for checkin' in!
